'Are you Spoof Proof'

(‘Spoofing’, part of any form of communication (electronic or physical) where the sender inserts/attaches false identity contact information to the communication.)

Hacking of official government websites is also reported to have increased in Pakistan. With the boom in the technology in Pakistan, many consumers are complaining of their accounts being misused or their amount being unduly deducted by the phone companies and many more, all are part of Text/sms spoofs, phone spoofs, URL spoofing, Web spoofing, IP spoofing, email spoofing.

Should “Spoofing” be part of Pakistan’s cyber crime Law?
Yes, it must be.

  • If not Pakistan will become a safe heaven for Cyber Criminals, Cyber Terrorists and all kind of International Crime.

  • It will do a great impact on ‘Pakistan Economy’. This will not only include foreign investors but also local Pakistani IT enabled companies who will have no choice but to move operations abroad due to the enormity of the Security Risk to business and individuals in Pakistan.

  • How Israel Spoofed Syria's Air Defense System.
Israeli fighters bombed a suspected nuclear materials site in Syria. Here's the million dollar question: How did they do it without tipping off Syria's Russian-bought air defense radar? Radar expert Dave Fulghum over at Aviation Week's Ares blog may have the answer: Israel hacked the network.

The new facility promises to control this and many other Cyber Crime being committed everyday. But all this depends on when the promised money will come through and whether it will be used for the purpose earmarked.
